    Is there an object, or a neat trick to adapt drunk to take absolute steps - so if the step size is 3 it will only takes steps of 3 rather than (0), 1, 2, and 3.
    I thought I could easily do it by making the step size 1 then using scale but drunk doesn't seem to output on a bang if the step size is 1.

      Try the same thing you did but with step size of 2(help file says, "maximum is value - 1").

      sorry, one more, if you wanted to use the drunk object, you could tweak this:

      You might want to set your step size to 2 (or -2 if you don't want steps of 0 to occur) and then connect a [* 3.] object to its outlet. You will need to scale your range to fit this. Have a look at the patch below.

      I ended up sorting it our with scale - I'd confused myself with the wrong scaling.
