Analyzer’s various functions are available also as seperate objects from Tristan Jehan’s site, I think the pitch tracker is called pitch~.
Alternatively, you can use the fiddle~ object on which analyzer based its pitch tracker, or if you have an IRCAM forum pass (or maybe even otherwise), the yin~ object.
For tracking level you don’t necessarily need to use anything as fancy as analyzer’s loudness function, which is providing a psychoacoustic measure. Depending on what you want to do, an envelope follower may suit you just fine. A ready rolled one is in Trond Lossius’ tl.objects.

The task is heavy. Any "simpler" would just hide the same amount of
information. There is no known less heavy method, unless you have very
defined signals like a monophonic square wave…
But there is an alternative which would only make an analysis if you
bang it, and therefore is not analyzing always. Its called iana~. Might
be part of the Ircam library (don’t remeber). It pulls out even more
Whats the context which gives you trouble?
