So, I know about the iphone object that's been out for a little while now, but I haven't gotten any solid confirmation on whether or not the ipod touch works with the aka.iphone object or any other software.

The only thing I've found so far is that "well there's no reason it shouldn't". Though I think it was Mr. Akamatsu himself who said that, so I would be inclined to believe him. But I've been looking for confirmation by someone who has actually tried it and tested it out, and haven't found anything yet.

So if anyone knows, I'm seriously considering upgrading my old ipod mini if it will work with Max as well.

Cool. I've been saving up to get either an iPod Touch or iPhone. Now I'm wondering if it would actually be better to go with the iPod touch for working with Max. With an iPhone, I'm picturing being in the middle of some music making and getting interrupted by an incoming phone call or text message...

Does anyone have experience with this? Is it easy to turn off all the phone features on the iPhone but still have it communicate with Max? If I opted for an iPod touch instead, are there any major downsides (like not having bluetooth)?
