I am working on a project in which I will automatically process pictures in Max that users upload online.

I have everything set up on the website with a dropzone file dropper and everything gets loaded into my /uploads folder on my server.

I can pull the data using jit.uldl, but I have to 1. know the name of the files in the folder and 2. know the time when someone uploaded something.

What I am looking for is a solution to automatically check the content of the folder (every 30 or 60 sec) to see if something new has been uploaded, and if so, automatically download the file (and the file name) into my patch to process it.

I guess this can/has to be done with JavaScript, and if I have to learn some of that, well, so be it, but if anyone of you guys has been in this situation before and has some magic up their sleeves, I'd be very thankful.
