automatically set up i/o mapping?

February 27, 2009 | 11:37 pm

I have a patch that uses a complicated configuration of ins and outs using soundflower and so forth. The problem I am having is: occasionally, when I open this patch, the i/o mapping will have reset to its default settings, and I have go in and change all the ins and outs to make the patch work.

Is there a way to avoid having to do this? Is there a message I can loadbang to the dac that could set the i/o mapping to my preferences?

Thank you.

do you mean something like this? I use something similar to this as an abstraction inside a bpatcher of gain controls to select whichever audio outs I want in Jack.

just select the text starting from:
——–begin_max5 pather…

and ending with:
—end max 5 patcher——-

copy it (apple c/edti – copy)
then select new from clipboard in the max file menu
