bpatcher – new view message/hotkey

Apr 26 2014 | 12:32 pm

I’m trying to make a "hotkey" in a bpatcher so that clicking a button visible in the presentation mode of bpatcher will open the object > new view selection. Normally you have to unlock the patch and right click to access this option and I’m wondering if there is another way to do this, maybe with a message? I’ve tried thispatcher but that just opens up a second substantiation of the patcher which confuses the system when it’s running. I want to be able to view the guts of the original bpatcher while it’s running. Any ideas?

@vichug That’s exactly what I was looking for! Knew it would be pretty simple but thanks for showing me. @helmuth I didn’t realize you could open patchers as a tab. Pretty cool to know that. Both suggestions work, thanks guys!
