Just installed the Max 5.05 update, and there seems to be a problem with jit.window < - fullscreen functionality.
Basically when this is triggered, the title bar of the window is still visible, and the whole window seems offset to the side by about 10 pixels.
This happens on a system running Windows XP SP3, with an nVidia 6800 graphics card, and also on a system running Windows Vista SP1 with an ATI FireGL graphics card.
Worked fine with Max 5.04 (to which I am reverting ASAP).
FWIW the same fullscreen problem with Max 5.0.5 also occurs on Windows XP SP3 with Intel 965 integrated graphics.
I can confirm this on xp. Found a work around though, just set the jit.window @border 0.
