When holding the mouse down over bpatcher's left inlet, the contextual menu

actions are opening the wrong things: selecting 'open bpatcher help' or

'open bpatcher reference' gets you the patcher help file/ref doc, and

selecting 'search for bpatcher in file browser' gets me a search for

'jpatcher', which, of course, finds nothing,

Doh! Post coffee this morning, as opposed to post vino last night, I can see what I've done here - sorry for the noise.

Can you believe, in 10 years of using Max, I have yet to use a bpatcher ? What a wonderful animal Max is!
