I am trying to build a patch to work on a computer that doesn’t have Max installed. The patch works fine and the application works fine on my computer, but when I transfer the application to a computer that doesn’t have Max it won’t play audio. It opens, and automations appear to work, it just won’t playback. Any thoughts on what’s wrong? Thanks.
Is there a standalone object in your patch (as the documentation on configuring standalone applications suggests)? If so, did you check "Audio Support" in the object’s Inspector to include the Audio Status window? If you did that, have you included the necessary patching to turn the audio on (either via user control or loadbang)? If so, what audio device have you chosen for I/O? etc.
