Classic vocoder in Gen, can't get it right

I’m getting it. Any thoughts?

The way I thought a vocoder works is like this:

Voice input goes into a bandpass filter set at a freq(F) and this feeds an "abs" then a "slide" to create an envelope that reads the amount of freq(F) in the voice. This instrument input is simultaiously fed into another bandpass filter, that is set to the same freq(F) and the envelope, that wes created via the voice BP filter controls the level of the instrument BP filter.

Have I misunderstood anything?

I wan’t to have this in Gen, so it can be used in the OWL pedal.

I copied the BP filter from the Help -> Examples -> Gen -> "like Lores" filter

I use the freq bands from this unit:

Hi hzd
I wouldn’t have the first clue as to vocoding/FFT synthesis in gen~, but did you look at: examples/fft-fun/cross dog? I know there’s a really good explanation in there.

. . . . I glanced at your patch – you’re clearly not looking for a vocoding tutorial, sorry.

@ HZD
I got it to work. Maybe you change your terminology in Analyse (in1-Mic), Synthese (in2-git) for better understanding.
