Can anyone tell me why my CNMAT OSC externals wont work?

Whenever I try to create one of the objects (e.g. udp) I get the message:

Some of the externals appear as a UNIX Executable file and I do not know how to change them into a file Max can recognise.

I was thinking it might have something to do with using leopard and Max 4.6.3 but I am not sure.

Has anyone had any luck using the Kroonde Gamma interface with leopard?

I have not used that interface, but I have been using the CNMAT patches for a while. I am using a G5 Dual 2.7 with Max 4.6.3. Try downloading from this link:

If I recall correctly, there are some pages at the CNMAT site that

refer to externals for early version of Max, hence the error you got

("loading old CFM externals disabled"). I'm fairly certain that that

error has to do with PPC vs. Intel processors.

The link Neal provided includes everything, fully Intel + 4.5 compatible.

you got an old version of these objects...

i use them a lot, with no particular argument (except host/port), with osc

try re-downloading them from cnmat website...

We stopped supporting otudp when udpsend and udpreceive were released. Use those for all your udp needs.

We stopped supporting otudp when udpsend and udpreceive were released.  Use those for all your udp needs.
