I am trying to create a sequencer using the [coll] and [seq] objects - I have created a MIDI composition which I have saved using [seq] to a text file, so the output looks like this:

I am trying to feed these values one-by-one BACK INTO [seq] so I can change their order and do all kinds of fun things. But for some reason [seq] will not accept back the midi text data that I took from it. I think this may have something to do with it needing to 'read' the information using a message.

Is there a way around this that without having to use 'read'?
