Anyway, I have a very elementary question (but don't find the answer, nor a max object doing this) : is it possible to send remote controls to the internal Apple DVD Player with Max-MSP (chapter, play, pause, fast forward, skip, volume, etc) ?

Unfortunately, the cd object disappeared from Max' distribution. But I'm very surprised to notice that vdp is still there!
Maybe AppleScript with iTunes?

I think you can access audio files on a CD with 

But as you ask for DVD, I suppose you want movies...

I think you can access audio files on a CD with sfplay~, so there is no need for cd.
But as you ask for DVD, I suppose you want movies...
