for some reasons i need to compute somme correlation (in fact, multiplying and summing two buffers who come from the same source buffer) and pick the index where the correlation is higher.

All of that in gen~... is it possible? If it seems chimeric, it is possible in audio domain then transmetting the results in a gen~ patch?
