Anyone see what I'm doing wrong here? I can't seem to get jit.gl objects to become physics bodies in jit.gl.lua:

gshape[i] = jit.new("jit.gl.gridshape", this.drawto);
phys[i] = jit.new("jit.phys.body", this.drawto);
gshape[i].name = tostring(i)
phys[i].targetname = gshape[i].name

hey john, looks like you're creating the phys.body with the wrong arg. the first arg should be the phys.world name, not the gl-context name.

Thanks Rob! That solves part of the problem -- I can now see the created bodies in the physdraw.

But this code still does not bind them to the gridshapes (while the equivalent Max messages in a traditional patcher do...):
