Hello I am sorry for being so insistent, I have been trying to use cv.jit.touches object for almost a week non stop, I download several versions of Max, and tried on different MacOs X machines, tiger and leopard. I cannot get the object to do anything at all, not print values, no problems on Max Window no change when I am using the enclosed movie on the help from the object. nothing. I include an example patch to the forum and except a minor mistake I had with ratio and threshold. I receive several messages telling me that it was working O.K.

I was wondering, because it looks almost as if the object is dead if could be any software that I have installed in my computer that is preventing me to get any feedback from getting any output at all from it.

I am thinking of software because I receive a message telling me that another person was using it on a MBP 13¨leopard installed. Should i upgrade to snowleopard, coud be any program that I do have installed on my 3 machines.

I apologize for asking several times about this object but I was looking for a solution for a long time to a problem for an installation and I have the feeling that this object would be the solution.

cv-jit-touches-information

The only thing that comes to mind (other than a bad download and a corrupted object) would be that you might have a subpatcher on your disc with the name cv.jit.touches. Max doesn't like that and will throw a hissy fit!! Do a search and rename/remove any files that have cv.jit.touches as their name.

i have the same issue and max crashes trying to use cv.jit.touches.

i had the same problem, and found a solution

cv.jit.shift: unable to load extern, object has no 'main' function

I replaced cv.jit.shift with a freshly downloaded file and now it works

there is one error in the max window:
