I am trying to achieve a stereo-to-stereo panning sub patcher with gen~, something similar to the pan knob on a master/bus track of DAW software.

When incoming sound only exists on a right channel, and a pan knob is set to its middle (0. between -1 to 1.), the sound comes from a right speaker.

When incoming sound only exists on a right channel, and a pan knob is set to its leftmost (-1. between -1 to 1.), the sound should be muted.

I have tried several patterns and might have come up with the correct patch. Could anyone kindly look at my patch and let me know if I am doing right?

This is not gen~, but it would be a simple matter to convert it to gen~. (I would call it "balance" rather than "panning", because the sound of each input channel never changes output channel.)

What would be the practical difference between yours and my 'CORRECT?' patch do you think?
