Dear Santa, it's actually a long story, but all i want for Christmas this year is:

[Loadbang @delay 20] a delay feature for loadbang and loadmess.

[Embed @file blabla.wav] Embed varios files (wav, png, dae etc.) in the patcher.

And a delete by name message (delete "this item") for Umenu.

P.S.: and a working Closebang in Max4Live.

[defer], [deferlow], [delay] or [pipe]; [sfplay @audiofile blabla.aif], etc etc ?

Delete item and closebang, probably similar workarounds too at a guess.

sorry, forget @audiofile - "embed" means something else.

Max7 has this kind of feature doesn't it; like, a collective or package or something?

1. preset mode for attrui embedded in the object

I know it has been discussed several times, it's not really coherent with attrui obj nature, and there's workarounds for this,

but would be a real game changer and time and space saver during patching, filling the gap between prototyping and performing!

2. radial fog option inside jit.gl.material

- a "hand" to move to xy pos of the patcher would be handy (key::space )

- store zoom settings and scaling options for high res screen resolutions

- patternstorage: double click in the client window navigates to the object

- patternstorage: rename scripting names from the client window

- shader editor: autocompile, store editor position and size (right now we always have to rescale this window...)

- wrap shader uniforms in the inspector or in a attrui array

- write to 3dTexture or even better: opengl 4.x!

All i want for christmas is to finally get proper documentation for gen and more news about the stuff you're working on, arm/linux-etc...

Since they include some encryption libraries, and they are so concerned about protecting their code, they could not force users to have a philosophy that they do not practice and add the option to create standalones with mfx encrypted.

A simple one here (would be a nice FR for Max 3, I guess): @change attribute to [decode] (to behave more like [matrixctrl] when it is constrained to 1 cell).

If "adstatus cpu" could report the whole Mac CPU power use instead of just MSP's part it would be a great gift.

Another nice one would be a merging between poly~ and bpatcher so that the dynamical patcher loading from poly~ would allow an included GUI to appear.

Also, after almost 20 years of MSP, a stereo pan object would be a simple yet useful addition (of course I've got my own abstractions for this but still...)

Roald, the "whole cpu" idea is interesting, but keeping the "Audio use" CPU would be necessary as well. I came to like that Max gives us the CPU just for the dsp part, which complements the Activity Monitor (on Mac, and just sticked the Activity Monitor in the Dock).
