Can anyone tell me what this error message means?

I am preloading into sfplay~. The aiff file is in the same search path as the patch. It works fine and the error message stops after a few plays, but would love to find out what is going on.

The error code is coming from the OS. Googling on "disk error 50" (don't use the minus sign, it means something special to Google), and there are bunches of discussions. It seems to indicate that the disk in question is corrupt. Try running Disk Utility or similar tools.
