Good afternoon all,
Brand new to Max for Live. In fact, I have very limited experience in any computer language at all so you certainly haven’t seen the last of me…as embarrassing as that is to admit. Still, I am floored by the potential of this software and determined to learn the language. Happy you all are here to join me.
I’ve searched the forum for any issues similar to mine with little success. Forgive me if this has been covered. When I open Max for Live in Live I receive the following messages right off the bat:
midi_dm: error 88781131 activating port Microsoft Synthesizer
midi_mme: error 7 opening midi input device USB Axiom 25
midi_mme: error 7 opening midi input device MIDIIN2 (USB Axiom 25)
midi_mme: error 7 opening output device USB Axiom 25
Now, though I get these 4 errors (and as you can see, 2 of them are redundant regarding my Axiom 25′s 2 inputs) I don’t seem to be having any problems. My Axiom still works as a controller as it should. Though I’m sure the problem will come up in the future and regardless, errors are supposed to be fixed right?
Hope you can help, Thanks a bunch!

Yes, the errors are due to the fact that those drivers are not loaded by the MFL editor. They are cosmetic, and may be ignored. We’ll look at tidying them up.
I have a similar problem yet..
I have the the message on Max:
midi_mme: error 7 opening midi input device Akai MPK25
midi_mme: error 7 opening output device Akai MPK25
But my problem is, I try to do this midi sinth: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3seRXXNR9o&feature=autoplay&list=PL9E8D0F6CFD9EAB7C&playnext=1
and the leggatos made on Midi controller, don’t work properly..
When I dropped a key, the second key that is pressed is mutted.
Is that a problem caused for the midi_mme erro 7?
