When I open and start FTM extra ‘gabor.partials.pat’, I receive this error in the Max window:
error in fmat: matrix 1024 x 1 cannot be handled as complex
Opening and starting gabor.psolastic.pat leads to a crash.
Both behaviors occur on both of my Windows XP SP2a systems.
Does anyone know what it means?
I can’t tell you what does it mean, but a new version (1.7.3) has
been announced today on the FTM list .
FTM 1.7.3.BETA for WIndows is finally ready for download at the
Maybe the update will change something. I just start to learn FTM
objects, so I’m afraid I can’t be of much help.

gabor.psolastic.pat still crashes Max after several seconds and gabor.partials.pat still gives me the same error message.
As I said, I just start to use FTMs so I have no experiences with
them to help you unfortunately. You could try on their list, (unless
someone can answer here).
