What am I doing wrong in the patch below (example hacked together from the jit-ogre help file)? I know that euler angles aren't the same thing as the rotatexyz values used in most of jitter, but even so I cant seem to find any values that actually create rotation beyond a tiny wobble.

Can't remember off the top of my head but I'm pretty sure the Euler angles are from the quat objects are in degrees 0-360 and rotate xyz are in float 0. - 1. Maybe vice versa?

the rotate message is an axis-angle (not the same thing as a quaternion).

in order to use euler coords (as in the rotatexyz message to normal jitter gl objects), you must first convert euler2quat, than quat2axis.

i know this is not ideal, but that's the way it is for now.

Argh, jit-ogre was angle/axis!? I feel both relieved and stupid.

Also since I've been working up from scratch on openGL/graphics programming, I've only been using angle/axis transforms like [234.2 1. 0. 0.] for the x-axis, and again for the others (and it seemed natural after early issues with rotation order). I had wondered why the last 3 were floats, but now I see why, as you can set the axis to anything.

Thanks for the help - I'm going to see if I need to replace some old glcommands with 1/3 of the messages :/
