Im trying to scale the decimal after a midi-note-value (i get from ftom-conversion) with a scale object to the corresponding value betw. 64 and 127 so i can shove it into a midiformat object. I get a cent value fine and then my scale object should read sth. like: 0. 200. 64. 127.

But do I have to specify an exponential ? no, coz the cent scale is already logarithmic? or do i lose the exponential scaling coz elsewise i convert the rang of 0-200 linearly if I don't specify a fifth argument of 1.05946?

(I know there's some other way in the midi synthesizer tutorial but it has to be scale object - HAS TO BE).

i dont know what you are after, but in most cases it is easier to perform calculations on the linear layer (midi notes numbers) than in Hertz. so this should be an easy job. :)

not sure what the modulo does in your patch, or where the 0-200 comes from.
