Dear C74,

It would be great to be able on XP to drag and drop Max patches into the
Max Window, or any opened window.

Many thanks in advance

You may already know this, but you can drag and drop patches/abstractions/etc from the Max file browser.

All the best,

Taken directly from Extras–>ExamplesOverview–>Max–>Launcher, is this what you mean? Stick it in a floating window and have it available anytime for drag and drop.

drag and drop functionality for patches and externs on the max window will be included in 5.06
