I’m probably sounding like a broken record, but my experiences with
fairly involved installation work using max and flash running on the
same computer(G5’s and macMini’s) were horrible.
Communication between the 2 was via tcp/ip. Lots of weird behaviour
and general instability.
In the end, I had to redo everything in Max. Max is not terribly wel
suited for designing pretty UI’s(ahem).
What might work: have your touchscreen/flash stuff running on 1
computer, and max on another. Send info from Flash to max via UDP or
I think Jitter supports Flash5(old) movies. I haven’t tried how well
that works. Might be worth a shot for simple stuff.
