Please help! As per the subject, I'm having terrible issues with floating, disconnected patch cords. (See image: Notice how the patch cord should be connected to "s skip", but is hovering directly to the right of it.) I've tried restarting, reinstalling max, updating, etc., all to no avail. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated!

not sure what the command is in max 7 but try selecting the objects and patch cords and use the auto align command (arrange menu max 6, command-y mac, control-shift-A windows)

if this doesn't work you can open the max patch in a text editor and see if there is something obviously wrong with the structure of it (make a copy first)

Thank you! Yes, I think you're right...I previously did a "search and replace" in a text editor, and I must have omitted a bracket or whatnot. Rather than try to find the error, I'm rebuilding the patch and I haven't run into this issue again. Thanks for the response and for your suggestion.
