I have a question conserning the cycle~ and phasor~ object.

When I type a frequency of for example 34.025 Hz into the cycle~ or phasor~ object, it makes 'cycle~ 34.025002' out of it.

Also I hear are two frequencies, a low and a high one. Why is that?

If I type in frequencies above 10.000 Hz I don't hear that frequency but lower ones or nothing at all.

Is this related to the vector size or a limitaion within cycle~ and phasor~?

Re the numbers, floating-point number precision has been discussed oodles of times on this forum. See

If you hear multiple frequencies when playing a low-frequency phasor~, that's normal, 'cause a sawtooth wave contains many frequencies. If you hear multiple frequencies when playing a cycle~, that might be clipping. If you hear a low frequency when trying to play a high frequency with either cycle~ or phasor~, that's probably aliasing. and just to add to Chris' explanation, silence above 10000 hz may be due to limitations of a combination of the sound card, speakers or even your ears
