Currently working on a project to sync keyboard presses to audio.

Although at the moment i'm having a little trouble switching the gates on and off and keeping them that way. The idea is when you press the space key, it'll generate a number, this number is going into the gates to decide which one is open. This is then going to a switch to either turn it on or off allowing the rest of the key inputs to flow through. The issue i have is that the gate is constantly switching on and off currently. Any ideas on a way to make it just switch on when the bang happens, rather than constantly flicking on and off? (Looking at the patch i have already tried just plugging it straight into the gate and it's still doing this same thing)
