I'm trying to get a MIDI value but once the controller stops, let say if my controller value is 15 and after moving the fader it stops at 70, I would like to avoid the "in between" values and jump from 15 to 70 when I stop moving the fader, been trying a lot of things with no luck, I'm really sure I'm missing something very basic, if someone can help me would be very much appreciated,

In order to decide that the input has "stopped" you need to wait a certain amount of time. Then, once you've decided that input has stopped for a long enough time, you use the last received value. Something like this:
