I have been studying Max/MSP for a few months now, and feel that I understand the general concepts at this point, but have come at a point of drawing a blank due to my lack of depth in knowledge. For a project that will be streamed online, I am trying to create a granular synth that I can play with my computer keyboard, and also run Cubase with Yamaha mixer, and stream all of it through soundflower and Quicktime broadcaster.

1. Are there any good examples of granular synths that I can play with on my computer keyboard?

2. I am aware that there is a way of choosing the ASIO driver for Cubase to go to soundflower, but what is the proper way of having both components (Max Patch and sound from Mixer) go to Soundflower?

3. How does one properly set up Soundflower? I have watched numerous video tutrials, but still feel that I have not grasped the basics yet. How does one add components (Yamaha Mixer with Cubase) on a mac?

4. Also, are there any simple steps in setting my iPad to control the mentioned granular synth? I have tried to work with TouchOSC but have found myself with another gap of understanding how to set up my iPad to work with Max.
