guitar affects still frame of qt movie

September 16, 2012 | 2:48 am

I have a patch that plays a movie one frame for every bang it gets. I have the volume of a guitar or other analogue input controlling [jit.brcosa] which I want to use to affect the saturation of the movie frame whether its changing frames (playing) or not. There’s something in the logic that I’m missing because I can’t figure out how to keep a still frame of a movie still pumping through a matrix to get jit.brcosa to work its magic at a regular frame rate. Does anyone have any advice for me? I’ve included the patch if you want to look at what I mean.

just connect a qmetro to an additional jit.matrix object:

Thank you for your time Tobias. I tried this before but must have done something stupid like not turned on the metro or [adc~]. I’m very happy to see I understand the logic, Thanks again.
