I am trying to make a device that looks at whether the device is on or not, and then have the ability to set that state without using the live.remote object (the goal is to be able to make the device on/off have momentary action to use from push, if I use the live.remote object I won't be able to shut the device off from push). I have included the patch so far here, the max console is telling me I am trying to set an invalid value but the is_active property is bool type, so the value should be 0 or 1. I don't understand where I am going wrong with trying to set this value, can anyone offer any insight? Thank you!
