I have some difficulty trying to imagine with what kind of logic I could achieve what I would like to do.

I want to limit the minimum and the maximum value of two number boxes, named IN and OUT, so they don’t overlap.

I was able to build someting that partially works with the number box minimum and maximum attributes.

The problem with this way of doing it is that when both number boxes reaches each others value, the have the exact same value which I want to avoid.

How can I introduce a margin (kind of a buffer), a value (for example 10) that limits both values from reaching each other?

I made a patch that mimics my main patch where this logics belong. I hope my explanation is clear.

Note that I want to use the mouse to change the number boxes values.

get output of both, only if they change, compare them and if B is greater than (or equal to) A then add -1 to B, prepend set (or, for multislider, prepend set 1.)

this is for 2, 3, 5 and 10 gui objects, it should be easy to extend it for more.

I will work on this today and see how if can achieve my goal.
