Probably just a simple answer to this one. I'm trying to set a Track's LiveAPI mute property (which appears to be a Boolean) using Javascript.

var path = "live_set tracks " + lastTrack + " track" ;

var api = new LiveAPI( this.patcher, path );

But no luck - Track mute does not activate.

Full documentation on using the LiveAPI within Javascript seems scarce - esp anything with sample code - though maybe someone can point me in the right direction? Thanks!

I've tried things like:

Through experimentation I found an answer to my own question.

This is the correct syntax, showing edits from above:

var path = "live_set tracks " + muteTrack ; // important to remove "track" from end of path

api.set("mute", 1); // 1 or o must be inside () - 1 turns mute on, 0 off
