I knew (but tested) swf load into jit.qt.movie.
It doesn’t work and it confirmed the fact apple doesn’t support that (heard they’ll do again)
In order to avoid the remake of complete interface (graphic + behaviour) inside jitter, I’d like to know the best way to use swf today.
jweb doesn’t seem to read swf well (only the first frame is displayed)
flosc can make the communication (for instance, I’d need a counter in max can send its current value to swf to display it)
what is the best way today to do that?
I found flosc (http://code.google.com/p/flosc/) the only reliable and easy to implement and both Mac & PC compatible way to connect flash and max.
the "problem" is, in my case, to make one window over the other and controlling that in max.
choosing swf, I’d have to use only swf for GUI, and max in background
it makes sense, btw.
What about Syphoning http://code.google.com/p/cogewebkit/ back into jitter?
