I have a strange problem, I have installed the universal binary files to run the boids algorithm in max from here: 

I have put the boids_max_jitter_UB_1.1 file in my search path for both max 7 and max 6 (demo versions), but I cannot load the objects. This is a project for some friends that I must run under windows due to other software

The strange thing is when I run windows 7 on my laptop and repeat the same procedure, I can load the objects fine (running Max 6.1)

Does anyone have any clue why that might be? Any advice greatly appreciated
