My setup is one where I have to send message to a bunch of live.object's, but I don't always want them to fire. My method has been to set them to a fake path "id 99", so that when i send them a message they will fire on something that doesn't exist, but that method is proving faulty. Is there a way to "clear" a live.object's reference to something in the LOM so that messages sent to the live.object will have no effect?
