I have seen this thread but it didnt solve my problem:

I am running windows 10 with Max 6. When trying to load semdd.leapmotion I get the following error :

mxj: could not find Java 2 Runtime Environment.

(mxj) mxj_platform_init failed. Could not initialize the Java Runtime Environment.

I have it running fine on a windows 7 machine. I have tried a couple of versions of java both incl 32 bit versions. On a spare laptop I even recreated the same windows 7 version, same max version, same java version etc etc - same error. Anyway if anyone knows how I can ge tthis running on windows 10 that would be great , Im wondering if I missed a step in the intallation of semdd external....
