I am trying to achieve something that ought to be very simple and yet is proving highly frustrating.

I wish to use jit.gl.multiple and jit.gl.gridshape to form an array of similar objects and then texture them with one image. Making the array is easy, getting the texture to behave not so much. I just can't seem to find a way of scaling the texture correctly as using @texzoom & @tex_plane_t & s are seemingly inoperable? Am I missing something here or is there another way? My final project will incorporate significantly more objects so I'm wary of approaches that generate high numbers of individual textures.

*Edit: To be clear, I want a single picture/image to spread over all the objects in the output window, as if they are being projected onto. In my patch you will see how tex_map 3 has had this effect but only in the top right corner, I just need to scale this correctly across the output window. Please please please!!*

Well, as a kind of update I have some limited success.

By using @texgen projected and @rectangle 0 in my jit.gl.texture instance I now have my captured texture across any dimension of gridshape multiple I chose.

@texgen projected, the clue seems to be in the title, but what the @rectangle attribute is really doing I don't understand. Feel free to enlighten me :)

Having got this far it still feels like a cheat as I've had to clip the edge of my multiple (using scale) to hide the wrap/clamp edge of the texture. I'm sure there must be a way to do this properly?

Also, can anyone tell me how to set the correct resolution of my texture?

I had chosen the gl.multiple route as I wished to draw cubes that I will displace.

The expression based solution you provided is indeed elegant, but at the risk of appearing slightly daft, are you able to say why the tex_plane_s/t does not work when used as an attribute? I would have expected this to allow real time scaling of the texture.
