I was previously using jit.window with erase_colour to modify the alpha channel to give the image some 'blur'. The erase_color alpha message was being sent to jit.gl.render which caused this to happen.

I have now got rid of jit.window and jit.gl.render, and replaced them with jit.world. My 'blur' has now disappeared and when I try and send the erase_color message to the module, nothing happens.

Can anyone think of a way around this? I have attached some images to demonstrate what I mean.

the problem is not with jit.world, but with capturing to texture. to mimic the erase_color alpha smear effect when capturing to texture, you can use the jit.gl.pass @fxname smear effect.
