I am programming a js object to handle lists.

However if a list begins with a symbol it is not considered as such and is not handled by the list() function.

Is there a way to handle all lists which are beginning with a symbol not used for other functions?

The jssort-example in the examples folder shows this approach:

exceptions for iOS Safari and older Androids by checking if the error message is equal to “Script error.”.

... in Max there is no window object and no DOM-events, because there is no window and no DOM ;)
