Yep. Works just fine in gen~. There are some get-you-started examples in the gen examples folder, in fact.

the max5 compliant way would be to put the patch inside a poly~ and set its vectorsize = 1.

Then you can have 1 sample delay with tapin~/tapout~

The simplest way would to use lp.ksks from Litter Power, which implements a very efficient, customized Karplus-Strong with sample-accurate frequency.

Last time I looked this was Litter Pro Bundle only, but I'm not near the LP development machine to check right now.
