I'm very new on Max Msp but I need help for my installation...

I'm working on an interactive corridor. It's very simple but I don't know what I need or which tutorials would be useful so I thought best to just ask here.

As you get closer to the played video at the end, the video gets faster and also the sound should change. The problem I have know is only how I can change sound in the file. As I would like to play with it... So the sound is also quite simple a ticking of a clock. If you get closer I would like to put a delay on it or also it should get faster. I would like to know where I can see tutorials about it how to patch it and what kind of effects I can put on the sound through max.

The kinect connection and all of that I have already it only is about the sound. I thanking in advance already for any help :)
