I'm new to M4L trying to do a very basic setup with the softstep where buttons 1-5 are mapped to track arm buttons in Live, but in the same way as controllers like the APC40 etc where MIDI is sent out from Live so that it's only lit up when the arm button is actually active.

IN other words, I can work something out just with the soft step editor, but it's not very safe because the LEDs only actually tell me whether I've pressed the footswitch or not, not that the arm buttons are actually enabled. The other problem is I want to be able to have more than 1 enabled at a time, and i can't really see anyway to do that on the softstep.
