I can't seem to find a concise list, and being new to GLSL, I'm becoming easily confused by what reserved names (like gl_FragColor) are used by GLSL, and what names I see in slab examples (like tex0, texcoord0,image) that seem to refer to the name of what jitter is sending to the gpu. So, is there anyone that could help explain what Max specific parameters are being passed into shaders?

tex0, texcoord0, etc are simply variable names, and therefore are arbitrary.

if they are varying type variables then they must be consistent across programs, so any jxs file that loads a shared vertex program (e.g. co.alphablend.jxs loads sh.passthru.xform.vp.glsl as it's vertex program) needs to be aware of the varying variable names specified in that vertex program, and specify those exact names in their fragment program (if used).

other than that, the only Max specific names you will find in the factory jxs shaders, are the built in uniform state variables, and these are listed here:
