I thin it is easy, but I am having already headaches, why it does not work...

I am trying to load external objects, I save them in the same folder where the patch is, I add this folder in the the file pref. and Max still does not recognizes it.

.error ..the place where the file is ... loading old CMF externals disabled.

loading-externals

This probably means that your externals are not compiled for max 4. (universal binary). Try to get the updated versions of these objects.

Sorry I've just seen, that they are for MAX 4.x.

I am still using the demo, could that be the problem?

The demo of max or the demo of the externals?

If you use externals compiled for 4.5, you'll not be able to use them in 4.6.

There is a HUGE difference between 4.5.7 and 4.6.x. If you are on 

Macintel you need a UB version, if you are on PPC you need to install 

CFM support to work with old externals or a UB version. Search the

Yes I am using an Intel Mac, I think that could be the solution... I hope, because I started to enjoy Max, so I am going to buy it:)
