does anyone know if there a module that allows the user to open a sound file and sets the loop points automatically (sample 0 to last sample -i.e the whole file) I see grove has loop points but it is in milliseconds.

maybe there is a module that outputs a bang at the end of a file so start can be triggered instantly and it just loops forever? That would be fine.

If you use the "replace" message to your [buffer~] object it will automatically resize to the length of the loaded file, you can then use the "loop 1" message to [groove~] to easily loop a whole wave file.

There is always [sampstoms~] if you need to convert a sample length to a millisecond one.

thanks, i must have missed the "loop 1" in the help , I shall try it out. : )
