looping phase vocoder tutorial

Jan 21 2008 | 11:36 am

I was looking at the phase vocoder tutorial on cycling 74 website and was wondering if there is a way to loop the buffer being played back on the index~ objects?

it is playing back in a loop already… ;-)
What do you want to achieve? Do you want to create some kind of looper
with loop lengths in the seconds range? Then look at the phase vocoder
example in your examples folder, you can loop the playback there easily…

Am bit confused. Am running patch downloaded from http://www.cycling74.com/story/2007/7/2/112051/0719 on OSX 10.4.6 on Max 4.6.2. If I load a loop it plays through once at the variable speed but doesnt loop. Should it? Is there a way to make it?

Cheers

Just to clarify, I dont want to set a loop lengthor anything, I just want it to go back to the start when the loop is finished, so the length of loop is variable with playback speed.
