I've just finished building a new PC and upon installing all my software I've been unable to link max 5 and live (it simply does not appear anywhere in the program when I download it). I haven't been able to figure out a way to make it work as the last time I did this all I had to do was download M4L from the Ableton website. Looking for suggestions as to making them interface.

I haven't been able to figure out a way to make it work as the last time I did this all I had to do was download M4L from the Ableton website.  Looking for suggestions as to making them interface.

If it's not showing up and you have a valid license and Max works by itself and Live works by itself then head on over to Ableton support.

The rule of thumb for figuring out who supports what is

Ableton takes care of everything up until the moment you hit the edit button, and we take care of everything after that.

So getting it going in Live is def a pre - edit button moment.
