Apologies if this is old news (been doing lots of searching but nothing so far specifically answers my question), but I've been messing with Markov Chains based on the example in the documentation. Nothing to sophisticated but I'm unclear about something between it and the detonate object.

What I was playing with was loading a midi file into detonate and using the example patch from the documentation to create a Markov based improv.

Works fine for pitches. So copied the Markov file twice and attached the velocity and duration outlets to each one respectively to generate the same for them, but I have a sneaking suspicion I'm doing something obviously wrong lol.

For example, I'm a bit worried that pitch - vel -dur data that eventually makes it to makenote might not be based on the same initial notes from the midi file, if that makes sense.

And also, more specifically, I've had to scale the notes durations as the range that eventually comes out of the Markov analysis is all over the place.

If anyone is interested, would you mind looking at my patch to see if you see what I feel like I'm surely missing (been nose-to-screen for too many hours now!)
